Plastics Leaching BPA Found to be A “Problem” in Harvard Study
Posted on May 28th, 2009 No commentsChemical found in common plastics poses health threat to humans according to new Harvard Study.
“According to HSPH: “The study is the first to show that drinking from polycarbonate bottles increased the level of urinary BPA, and thus suggests that drinking containers made with BPA release the chemical into the liquid that people drink in sufficient amounts to increase the level of BPA excreted in human urine.”
Why is this dangerous?
“BPA, used in the manufacture of polycarbonate and other plastics, has been linked to cardiovascular disease and diabetes in humans and disrupted reproductive development in animals.” For more information on BPA, please click here.

70th Senior PGA Championship and the Winner is…
Posted on May 24th, 2009 No commentsMichael Allen (-6) claimed his Alfred S. Bourne Trophy in his first start. This is something only one other man has managed to do…Arnold Palmer. Pretty good company I would say! Larry Mize finished at -4 while Bruce Fleischer fininshed at -3, Tom Watson was even and Chris Starkjohann was +1. Congrats to Michael Allen after a long 20 year wait.
