Zach Johnson Wins the Valero Texas Open for the Second Straight Year
Posted on May 17th, 2009 No commentsZach Johnson needed a sudden death playoff with James Driscoll to dertermine this years champion at the Valero Texas Open. In the end Johnson prevailed with a clutch put on 18 to repeat as champion for 2009. He won with a score of -15. James Driscoll played exceptionally well, but just did not have enough to finish off the defending champ. Bill Haas (-14), Paul Goydos (-14) and Brian Davis (-13) rounded out the top of the leader board. Highlights at the link below.

PGA Tour Update for May 17th
Posted on May 17th, 2009 No commentsZach Johnson has the lead at -15 but not all players have finished their rounds. Paul Goydos is sitting in second spot at -12 but only played 13 holes yesterday. Justin Leonard is also through 13 holes at 12 under. Marc Leishman sits at -11 ans Scott Sterling is also at -11 through 14 holes.
