Tiger Woods Accident -News Worthy?
Posted on November 30th, 2009 No comments
Tiger woods gets in his car, hits a fire hydrant and a tree. CNN covers this thing like it some major event. I mean come on! Several consecutive hours of coverage for what? Tiger Woods is a man who just happens to be the best golfer on the planet at the moment. The fact that he has had a minor vehicle mishap does not constitute a news worthy story in my opinion.
First: The statement - Woods in hospital after accident, treated and released.
Second: The 911 transcripts >>bit.ly/4KliXS <<
Third: Numerous attemps by police to get statement from Woods
Fourth: Tiger Withdraws from his own tournament >>bit.ly/8hj8t2<<
Let the man and his family have some peace. It just seems like people are eager to tarnish Tiger’s image due to some unfortunate circumstances. It does not matter if we find out the “why” portion of this equation. That is for Tiger and his family to deal with.
Please feel free to chime in with your opinions.
