With all of the health risks associated with pop consumption (diabetes, digestive aliments, obesity etc), this may be the best reason to avoid the sugar laced drink yet. According to Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention, “Consuming two or more soft drinks per week increased the risk of developing pancreatic cancer by nearly twofold compared to individuals who did not consume soft drinks.” Source
