The Big Easy Makes it Look Easy at the WC World Golf Championship-Doral 2010

Ernie Els and fellow South African Charl Schwartzel were tied going into Sunday’s final round at Doral. In the end, Els put the pedal to the metal and pulled away from the field to claim the 2010 WGC at the famed Doral Blue Monster Course. Els shot a great round of 66, which gave him a total score of -18 for the tournament. That was good enough for a 4 shot lead over Charl Schwartzel. Schwartzel was unable to keep pace with the Big Easy on Sunday. He could only muster up a 2 under 70 to finish at -14.

Matt Kucher, Martin Kaymer and Padraig Harrington all finshed at 11 under.

Round 3 Summary from Doral-WC World Golf Championship

Bill Haas shot 70 to put him at -9, while Martin Kaymer had a great round with the flat stick. He carded a third round 66 to put him 8 under.
