“Studies have linked BPA exposure to reproductive disorders, obesity, abnormal brain development as well as breast and prostate cancers, and in January the Food and Drug Administration announced that it was concerned about “the potential effects of BPA on the brain, behavior and prostate gland of fetuses, infants and young children.”

Young Canadians At High Risk for Heart Disease and High Blood Pressure

The Heart and Stroke Foundation has released its annual report . Canadians are getting failing grades in regards to many heart health related issues including, high blood pressure and heart disease.
“Between 1994 and 2005, rates of high blood pressure among Canadians skyrocketed by 77 per cent, while diabetes rose by 45 per cent and obesity by 18 per cent, the report said.”
“More than 250,000 Canadians in their 20s and 30s had high blood pressure, making them the newest at-risk group.”
