Here is something to think about (if you still can after all that processed food). There is a study that directly links poor nutritional habits of young children with lower I.Q scores later in life. The study suggests that diets high in sugar, fat and processed foods pose a problem for toddlers development. The FDA has decided that Genetically Modified salmon is not safe for human consumption. This decision comes after 2 days of hearings by an 11 member panel of the FDA.

The genetically altered salmon contains growth hormone that allows the fish to grow at approximately twice the rate of normal salmon. The fish is marketed under the name AquAdvantage.

There has been little to no study done on this type of “food” product. No one is quite sure of the ramifications for long term human health.

A good social commentary via video on how brain washed people are in regards to food and advertising. Get a grip. It is processed junk!

Melodi Dushane got 60 days in jail and 2 years probation for her assault on a Mc Donald’s employee and vandalism. Why did this happen? The incident occurred because McDonalds was not offering chicken mc nuggets at that time. All I have to say is “I’m lovin it” . I hope those mc nuggets were worth it!

McDonalds May Have a Lawsuit on Their Hands

A watchdog group is threatening to take fast food giant McDonald’s to court. The groups claims that McDonald’s is using the toys that come with Happy Meals to “lure kids into unhealthy eating habits.”

The potential lawsuit is also focusing on McDonald’s advertising campaigns.

“The group points to a 2006 study by the Federal Trade Commission showing that fast-food companies — McDonald’s foremost among them — spent $520 million in advertising directed at children. Toy giveaways represented more than $350 million of this total.”

Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued yet another warning for processed meats that may contain listeria. The products are made by Zadi Foods Ltd.
