Alvaro Quiros and Rory McIlroy Share Round 1 Lead at Augusta National

Alvaro Quiros and Rory McIlroy both fired opening round of 7 under( 65)  to share the lead after the opening round on the 2011 Masters at Augusta National. Y.E Yang and K.J Choi are 2 strokes behind while Ricky Barnes and Matt Kuchar are 4 shots off the pace.

The battle for the green jacket is on between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson. Lefty finished the day with a-2 (70) while Tiger ended up at -1 ( 71) for the day.

Charlie Wi and Matt Kuchar share the lead after day 2 at the BMW Championship. Wi shot a round of 69 (-2) while Kuchar managed to shot a 1 over (72). Marc Leishman, Ian Poulter, Paul Casey, Luke Donald, Retief Gossen and Dustin Johnson are all tied at 4 under.

Tiger Woods Tied For The Lead At The Barclays After Round 1

TIger Woods managed to shot a round of 6 under 65. This comes just days after Woods divorce was finalized. Tiger is tied with fellow American Vaughn Taylor. Ryan Palmer, Brian Gay and Adam Scott are just one shot back. There is a log jam of 13 golfers sitting at -4.

Round 1-British Open Championship 2010- Rory Leads, Tiger on the Prowl, Lefty has Some Tough Luck

Rory McIlory shot a 9 under 63 during the opening round at the British Open Championship. This gives him a 2 shot lead over Louis Oosthuizen. Andrew Coltart, Steven Tiley, Bradley Dredge, Peter Hanson and John Daly (yes I said John Daly) are all tied at -6. It is safe to say that Daly’s play definitely raised a few eyebrows after the first round.
