2009 Wyndham Championship :2nd Round Update and Highlights

Chris Riley and Ryan Moore both finished the day at -11. Riley shot an impressive 7 under- just 2 shots off the course record. Jeff Maggert sits at -10 currently. Vijay Singh, Brendan Jones, Lucas Glover, Ross Fisher and Padraig Harrington are all at -3 trying to keep pace with Tiger.

Green and Goosen go to Playoff to Decide Canadian Open Champion

A rain soaked course at Glen Abbey provided some fireworks at the finish of the Canadian Open in Oakville, Ontario.
Nathan Green and Retief Gossen needed a sudden death playoff to crown this years champion at Glen Abbey. After the second hole, Nathan Green emerged the surprise victor. It was the 33 year old Aussie`s first win on the PGA. Previously Green had played on the Canadian Tour, so winning on Canadian soil was very sweet for him.

138th British Open-The Ailsa Championship Course, Turnberry
Posted on July 14th, 2009 No commentsThe 2009 British Open will begin on Thursday. This tournament is comprised of some of the worlds best golfers and this year is no exception. The field consists of notable players such as Tiger Woods, Sergio Garcia, Steve Stricker,Geoff Ogilvy, Henrick Stenson, Ian Poulter, Rory McIllory, Padraig Harrington, Martin Kaymer and Paul Casey.
With the Ailsa Course at Turnberry playing longer and of course the infamous rough and bunkers, this year’s British Open should pose a heafty challenge for all of the golfers.

Lucas Glover wins the Us Open at Bethpage-Phil is 2nd..Again

Ricky Barnes with Lead at US Open-Bethpage
