Bitter Sweet Day for Tiger Woods
Posted on December 16th, 2009 No comments
Tiger Woods was named the Athlete of the Decade by The Associated Press. He finished the voting ahead of Lance Armstrong and Roger Federer. This is quite the accomplishment. Apparently, Tiger’s personal life has no relation to his accolades on the golf course.
This announcement comes on the heels of Elin (Tiger’s Wife) planning on divorcing Woods according to various reports. After purchasing a home in Sweden earlier this week, there has been much speculation about the future of Elin and Tiger’s marriage. We will find out more in the coming days. This has to be a bitter sweet day for Woods.
Congratulations are in order, I guess?

Posted on December 15th, 2009 No comments

As if Tiger Woods does not have enough problems to worry about with his seemingly endless amount of affairs, he now has has another issue to contend with. The New York Times is reporting that Woods has been linked to a Canadian doctor. The doctor is under criminal investigation for possibly providing steroids and other performance enhancing drugs to athletes.
Along with that news, several more women have come out of the wood work claiming to have had an affair with Tiger. The latest is Theresa Rogers. I have lost count now.

Furyk with a Comeback to win The Chevron World Challenge
Posted on December 6th, 2009 No comments
Jim Furyk had a great final round to come from behind and capture the 2009 Chevron World Challenge. For Furyk, this is his first win since the 2007 Canadian Open. He finished with a 5 under 67 and a final score of -13 on Sunday. Graeme McDowell shot a 2 under 70 which gave him second at -12. Not bad for a late replcaement. Lee Westwood and Padraig Harrington finished a -11 while Zach Johnson, Stewart Cink, Sean O’ Hair and Ian Poulter all ended up at -9.
