Round 2 From Augusta National -The 2011 Masters

Rory McIlroy continues to lead after 2 rounds at the 2011 Masters. He shot  3 under par (69) on Friday, bringing his score to -10.  Jason Day now sits in second place after having the round of the day. He managed to shot a fantastic -8 (64). K.J Choi continued his strong play with a 2 under (70) to leave him at -7. Perhaps the best story of the day, was in regards to Tiger Woods. He played well during the second round (-6) which puts him in a third place tie with Choi. Tiger seemed to be pretty sharp. He had a few tough shots but was able to recover in vintage Tiger style.

Yesterday’s Co Leader, Alvaro Quiros struggled and ended up 1 over for the day. This moved him into a tie with Geoff Ogilvy at -6. American, Phil Mickelson had a tough day at Augusta making even par leaving him at 2 under.

Alvaro Quiros and Rory McIlroy Share Round 1 Lead at Augusta National

Alvaro Quiros and Rory McIlroy both fired opening round of 7 under( 65)  to share the lead after the opening round on the 2011 Masters at Augusta National. Y.E Yang and K.J Choi are 2 strokes behind while Ricky Barnes and Matt Kuchar are 4 shots off the pace.

The battle for the green jacket is on between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson. Lefty finished the day with a-2 (70) while Tiger ended up at -1 ( 71) for the day.

Justin Rose, Rickie Fowler and Geoff Ogilvy shoot opening rounds of 7-under 65 and are in a 3-way tie for the lead after the first round of the Memorial.

Round 3 – Transitions Championship 2010

Jim Furyk has taken the lead after the third round at the Transitions Championship at Innisbrook. He  is 11 under after a third round 67. K.J Choi, Retief Gossen, Bubba Watson and Carl Pettersson all sit 3 shots  back of the lead(-8).

Luke Donald, Padraig Harrington and Jeff Maggert are all tied at 7 under par.
